Delete Your Ball Caddie Account

You can request permanent deletion of your Ball Caddie account and your associated personal data at any time. This page explains what will happen when you delete your account, what data is removed, what may be retained, and the methods you can use to initiate deletion.
Who this applies to
This process is available to anyone who has created a Ball Caddie account through our website or through our mobile applications on the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Open the Ball Caddie app (or sign in at ballcaddie.com).
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Send an email to support@ballcaddie.com from the email address associated with your Ball Caddie account with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include:
- The email address on the account you want deleted.
- A brief statement confirming you want your account and data deleted.
We will verify ownership of the account and process the deletion within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
When your account deletion is processed, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account profile (email, display name, authentication identifier).
- Your saved fittings, quiz answers, and preferences.
- Your bag entries, round logs, and Caddie Mode sessions.
- Any feedback or support correspondence tied to your account identifier.
What may be retained
We may retain a limited subset of data for as long as legally required or reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with tax, accounting, and financial-record retention obligations (e.g., transaction and payment records).
- Comply with legal, regulatory, or consumer-protection requirements.
- Resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Service, prevent fraud, and maintain the security of the Service.
Any retained data will be stored only for the period required and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Timeframe
Account deletion is typically completed within 30 days of your request. Backups are rotated on a scheduled basis and residual copies are removed as part of that rotation.
Important: Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your Ball Caddie account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. To avoid further charges, please cancel your subscription through the platform that billed you before requesting account deletion:
- iOS (Apple): On your device, open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, select Ball Caddie, and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Android (Google Play): Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, select Ball Caddie, and tap Cancel subscription.
- Web (Stripe): Sign in and cancel from your Profile page.
