What golf ball does Scottie Scheffler use?

The Titleist Pro V1, as of October 2026.

Scheffler is a TaylorMade staff player for his driver, woods, irons, and putter, yet his golf ball and wedges stay with Titleist. GolfMagic’s August 2026 bag check lists the Pro V1, and GolfWRX’s 2026 Tour Championship field review lists him with the same ball.

His ball is the standard Pro V1. Titleist’s own description of the difference from the Pro V1x: Pro V1 flies mid, spins less on irons, and feels softer; Pro V1x flies higher, spins more, and feels firmer. GolfMagic’s read is that he prefers the softer feel around the green; Scheffler himself has not said much about it.

In our catalog the Pro V1 is a 3-piece urethane ball at 92 compression. It is the most-played ball on the PGA Tour, so the “which Pro V1” choice is the interesting one; our Pro V1 vs Pro V1x guide walks through it for an amateur’s swing.
