What golf ball does Tiger Woods use?

Updated October 2026

The Bridgestone Tour B X, in its 2026 version, as of October 2026.

When Bridgestone launched the 2026 Tour B line in January, it named the Tour B X as the ball “played by Tiger Woods, Chris Gotterup, Kurt Kitayama and Matt Kuchar,” per Golf.com’s launch report. Woods said in the launch release that he has “trusted Bridgestone for more than 25 years.” Bridgestone also sells a Tiger Woods Edition of the Tour B X with his side stamp and the number 1.

For years Woods played the softer Tour B XS, so older articles still say XS. The X is the firmest and fastest ball in the line, aimed at swings over 105 mph. In our catalog the Tour B X gauges 100 compression with a urethane cover.

One caveat: the identification comes from Bridgestone’s launch announcement. Woods has played little competitive golf since 2024, so there is no long tournament record with this ball yet.

Which Bridgestone fits an amateur is a different question; our Bridgestone guide sorts the line by swing speed.
